Thursday,
January 14th is National Dress Up Your Pet Day!

If your Dog or Cat
has a style that is worthy of any Red Carpet Event, Thursday is the day to show
it off.
National Dress Up Your Pet Day was founded to celebrate pets and to
support pet fashion in a fun way. And let’s face it…as much as we know our pets
hate it, it’s a great opportunity for us to get some awesome pictures and a good
laugh.
Why not dress up your pet? We all dress to show our sense of style and
personality. What makes you think Fido hasn’t always wanted to show off his
preppy side with a nice cardigan and fedora? Dress Up Your Pet Day is the
perfect day to wow your friends and make all of the other pets at the dog park
super jealous. So to break out the studded
collars and fancy sweaters…if not now, when?
- Make sure the outfit fits properly. Restricting your pet’s movement or ability to breathe can cause serious injury or illness.
- Many pets like to chew. Avoid loose or dangling pieces on outfits, which can be choking hazards.
- Be sure your pets safe and comfortable in the clothes and costumes you choose.
Need to do some shopping before the Holiday? Here are a few ideas…you never know, your pet could be the next Fay Ray!
